Kihwan Kwon, MD, PhD

Dr. Kwon is the professor of cardiovascular department in the school of Medicineat Ewha Womans University and has produced many
outstanding achievements in the field of cardiovascular diseases. He is also the founder of Exollence and a pioneer in
exosome-based drug delivery system. He established exosome-based drug delivery system platform technology using Extracoporeal
Shock Wave (ESW) which became the foundation of Exollence.
Dr. Kwon earned his M.D. and Ph.D. in Internal medicine from Yonsei University College of Medicine.
Jihwa Chung, PhD
Head of R&D
Dr. Chung has developed for years of working experience in the field of exosome with Dr. Kwon. Now, as the head of R&D center of
Exollence. Dr. Chung is leading company’s efforts for innovative therapeutics development with patented
exosome-based drug delivery platform.
Dr. Chung earned her Ph.D. in Hematology from Tokyo Medical and Dental University.
Gangse Lee
Outside Director
Gangse Lee is working as a Planning and Sales Director of i-SENS, Inc. and Head of the Investment Team in Korea Biotech Investment
Capital. He is also active as a professional angel investor.
Gangse Lee earned his M.S. in Animal Resource Science from Seoul National University.
